Funds are ranked on their 3-year annualised return after fees, using FE fundinfo data to 30 Sept 2026. A fund needs 3 years of history and at least $20M in assets. Where a fund has several unit classes, only the lowest-fee class is ranked. Ties go to the lower-fee fund. A few funds without FE fundinfo data are ranked on returns supplied by their manager; these are marked "Manager-supplied data".
Independence
Fund managers can't pay for a rank, and sponsored or featured listings play no part in it. Funds from the ausbiz group are marked "Related party". Geared funds borrow to invest, so their returns and losses are magnified.
